Keep Your Back-Up Credit Card Modem in Check

Your back up credit card modem is not used except when the internet goes down. Since it is rarely used, it can come unplugged, turned off, or the phone line connected to it may become disconnected. It is good practice to routinely check on these things so that in the event of internet failure, your credit cards will continue to process without incident.

Once the internet is restored, if the credit cards do not switch back to processing high speed, you can restore the connection by going to:
• EDC
• File
• Stop POS processing, and then restart it

Radiant Systems Names Paul Langenbahn President of its Hospitality Division
Langenbahn to lead strategic vision for hospitality division

ATLANTA (July 19, 2007) – Radiant Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: RADS) announced that Paul Langenbahn will assume the role of president for Radiant’s hospitality division as of July 2007. Andy Heyman, Radiant’s residing hospitality president, will continue his role of chief operating officer.

Since 1994, Langenbahn has held a variety of key leadership positions including vice president of sales and marketing, vice president of channel sales for the hospitality division and consulting director for the petroleum and convenience retail division. Full Story
