Are You Using Your System to Its Fullest Capacity?

Did you know that every item in your database contains a recipe file that can have text, a bitmap image, or even video?  This feature can be an extremely effective training tool.  Here are a few examples of how this feature can be utilized:

  • Text: Have descriptions of daily specials in the recipe files of the corresponding menu items.  When the server arrives, they can immediately pull up descriptions of the daily specials and either memorize them, or print them for reference throughout their shift.
  • Bitmap Image: Have pictures of bar cocktails so that servers/bartenders know what type of glass and garnish to use for certain drinks.
  • Video: Have videos of sidework or cleaning duties that staff members must perform on each shift.
